Search built around your content and catalog
The scope is search within your own website or catalog. We start with a bounded content set and representative queries, then select the supported ingestion and search features needed for that dataset.
- Connected systems
- Google Cloud + REST API
- Data flow
- Approved website content or catalog records populate the search index. The website sends a visitor query and permitted filters to the search API, then displays matching results. The CMS or catalog remains the source of truth; indexing updates follow the agreed refresh route.
Index the right content
Choose eligible pages or catalog records and map their titles, URLs and useful attributes. Define exclusions for drafts, private pages and retired products. A public website crawl and a structured product feed have different capabilities and setup requirements.
Build results and filters
Integrate the search request and result interface with the existing website. Select usable category or attribute filters and preserve visibility constraints on the server. Metadata fields must be configured for the chosen search route before filters can rely on them.
Evaluate relevance and refresh
Test expected matches, synonyms, narrow product requests and queries with no useful result. Agree on content refresh and removal handling, and give staff a way to report stale results or missing records.
