A generative engine optimization agency for companies that want to be cited.

Norml works on whether an AI answer names you. That is a different problem from ranking: it rewards checkable claims, clean structure, and sources a model can attribute. Also called AI optimization or AIO, and the work is the same under any of the three labels.

Buyers now ask a model before they ask a search engine, and the model has never heard of you.

  • Prospects arrive already informed, and the information did not come from your site.

  • Asking an assistant about your category returns your competitors and not you.

  • Your best evidence is in a PDF, a deck, or a video, where nothing can read it.

  • The pages make claims that cannot be attributed, so nothing on them is safe to quote.

  • Nobody is measuring whether any of this is changing.

What our Generative engine optimization services include.

We start by asking the assistants about your category and recording what they say. Then the work splits into what the pages need to become citable, and what needs to exist elsewhere for a model to corroborate it.

Citation baseline

Ask the major assistants the questions your buyers ask, record which sources they cite, and establish where you currently appear. Without this the rest is guesswork.

Citable evidence

Turn what you know into something quotable: a measured figure, a stated method, a dated comparison. Models cite specifics and skip adjectives.

Machine-readable structure

Clear headings, direct answers near the question, structured data, and content out of images and PDFs and into text.

Corroboration

A claim a model can verify in more than one place is one it will repeat. This overlaps with authority work, which is why it is scoped alongside link building.

Crawler access

Deciding which AI crawlers may read the site and confirming they can, rather than discovering a blanket block after months of invisibility.

Tracking

Recurring prompt sets, logged over time, so the change is visible rather than asserted.

Generative engine optimization deliverables.

The agreed scope identifies which of these deliverables your project needs.

  1. 01

A citation baseline across the major assistants, with the prompts used.

  2. 02

A prioritized list of pages to restructure, with the reason for each.

  3. 03

Original, dated evidence assets a model can attribute to you.

  4. 04

Structured data and answer formatting implemented on the priority pages.

  5. 05

A crawler access decision, documented rather than left to a default.

  6. 06

    A recurring prompt-tracking report.

Our process

How our Generative engine optimization process works.

Baseline

Record what the assistants currently say about your category and who they cite. You see the starting position before anything is spent.

[ 01 ]

Evidence

Decide what you can say that is specific, true, and checkable, and what needs measuring first.

[ 02 ]

Restructure

Make the priority pages readable and quotable, with answers where a model will find them.

[ 03 ]

Corroborate

Get the claims referenced elsewhere, so a model has more than one source.

[ 04 ]

Track

Re-run the prompt set on a schedule and report the movement.

Generative engine optimization questions.

Is generative engine optimization the same as SEO?
It overlaps and it is not the same. Search rewards relevance and authority to a page; a generative answer rewards a claim it can attribute and corroborate. A page can rank well and never be cited, and a page can be cited without ranking at all.
AIO, AI optimization, GEO — which is it?
All three name the same work. We use generative engine optimization because that is the phrasing with measurable demand behind it; if your team buys this as AIO or as AI optimization services, nothing about the scope changes.
Can you guarantee an AI will mention us?
No, and anyone who does is guessing. There is no ranking panel and no submission form. What we can do is establish where you stand today, fix the reasons a model cannot use you, and measure the change with a repeatable prompt set.
What actually gets cited?
Specifics. We published a benchmark of 25 model and route pairs measured on a live site, with the figures and the method stated, because that is the kind of page an assistant can quote. Positioning copy is not citable, however well written.
Should we block AI crawlers?
It is a decision, not a default, and it should be made deliberately per crawler. Blocking everything protects nothing much and guarantees you are absent from the answers your buyers are reading.
Website 2.0 combines strategy, design, development and launch in one engagement, with the evidence built in rather than added later.
