Posts, pages and comments
We map the agreed article archive, dates, labels, authors, and comment records into WordPress. The import is tested on representative posts, including long comment threads and embedded content. Draft or private material stays unpublished until its destination status has been confirmed.
Images and embedded content
A readable article can still depend on images hosted elsewhere. We inventory those sources, copy the agreed owned media where access permits, and update content links. Embedded videos, galleries, downloads, and captions are checked separately so the archive remains usable after the source account changes.
Publication design and editing
We build WordPress article templates, archive pages, navigation, and author presentation around the approved publication structure. Blogger’s theme is a design reference, not an installed WordPress theme. Your team reviews the controls needed for new posts and routine edits before the transfer is completed.
Legacy addresses and redirects
We map date-based post paths, labels, pages, and important inbound links. A custom domain allows different redirect control than a blogspot.com address. The launch plan identifies which redirects can be implemented, which links should be updated, and what must remain available on the old blog.

What we need before the move
Blog ownership and source archives
Provide authorized Blogger access, the available content backup or Google Takeout archive, original media, domain ownership, and WordPress hosting access. Identify multiple authors and any custom redirects, feeds, or embedded tools.
Historical and URL limits
Comment completeness and image portability need a tested sample, not an assumption based on the existence of a backup file. We do not promise unchanged search rankings or server-level control over a blogspot.com address that you do not host.

Inspect the backup and link map
Compare the source blog with its archive, identify the available format, and record the URL patterns and media sources. Agree what will move and what needs separate capture.
Test an article sample
Import posts with comments, authors, labels, and images. Check formatting, threading where supported, links, and editor behavior before transferring the remaining archive.
Reconcile and publish
Compare the approved inventory with the destination, complete the redirect plan, and connect the domain. Verify public articles, important old links, and any retained source-blog entry points after launch.

Questions about the migration
Can comments and embedded images move?
We test the available export and media access before confirming coverage. Comments need their authors, dates, and relationships reconciled. Images may still point at an external host even when the article text imports successfully.
How are old Blogger links handled?
We build an address map and check the control available for your custom domain or blogspot.com account. Supported redirects and source-blog updates are planned explicitly. Keeping post titles alone does not preserve their previous URLs.
Can you import a Google Takeout backup?
We inspect the archive and its content format, then verify a compatible WordPress import or conversion route. Blogger documents both current Takeout feed files and older XML backups; compatibility must be checked against the selected tool.
