We review whether the accounting workflow needs individual sales records or an approved summary. The mapping keeps Shopify orders, payments and payouts distinguishable so the same activity is not counted through multiple import paths.
A payout may combine sales, refunds, fees and adjustments. We identify each required input, preserve traceable references and define the destination treatment with the bookkeeping owner.
Before loading history, we inspect existing QuickBooks Online entries and Shopify connectors. The scope names the cutoff date, matching keys and recovery process for failed or repeated transfers.
Provide approved account mappings and sample expected entries, including shipping, discounts and partial refunds. Accounting and tax policy remain with your bookkeeper or accountant.
