What the migration covers
Product data can be transferred separately from storefront design and app behavior. We review all three so the new store supports the way you sell.
Catalog and product presentation
We map Shopify products, variants, images, SKUs, and collections to the agreed WooCommerce structure. Additional product fields need a destination definition. A representative import checks variation choices, stock values, galleries, and product descriptions before the full catalog is moved.
Customers and historical orders
We assess a supported importer or API route for the agreed customer and order records. Source identifiers help reconcile repeat imports and customer associations. Historical records are checked against the original totals and statuses; they must not trigger duplicate fulfillment or customer messages.
WordPress storefront and extensions
Shopify themes and apps do not install as WooCommerce components. We build the storefront and agree replacements for essential features, including product options, reviews, discount behavior, and delivery rules. The chosen setup must work for editors as well as shoppers.
Checkout, redirects and cutover
The launch scope covers payment configuration, shipping rules, customer sign-in, notifications, and URL mapping. Orders and inventory created during the build need a final reconciliation. We define who owns pending orders and how the old store remains available for reference.
