What the migration covers
Squarespace product exports are useful inputs, but they do not contain every storefront detail. The scope separates catalog data, page design, and ongoing commerce operations.

Products and missing media details
We map product names, descriptions, SKUs, options, prices, and available images into Shopify. Squarespace’s product CSV leaves out details including variant images, image alt text, and additional product information. We inventory those gaps and agree how to restore the material your product pages need.
Customers, orders and reviews
Customer contacts and historical orders are inspected separately from the product catalog. We agree which records should be imported or retained in an accessible archive. Reviews require their own source and destination plan. Sample records are checked for customer associations, totals, and fulfillment status.
Shopify storefront and content
We build product templates, collections, navigation, and the supporting pages your customers use. Squarespace page layouts do not become Shopify theme sections. Policies, delivery information, size guides, and other product-support content are included in the agreed page inventory.
Checkout and store launch
Payment, shipping, notifications, analytics, and domain settings are configured for Shopify. Old product and content URLs get an explicit redirect map. Before cutover, we reconcile inventory and orders created after the initial export so ownership of outstanding work stays clear.
