Pages and original assets
We inventory the pages, images, downloads, and navigation that need to survive the move. Where a Weebly archive is available, we inspect its contents against the live site. Missing or externally hosted assets are collected through an agreed process and checked in the destination media library.
Blog archive and comments
Weebly’s documented site archive excludes blog pages. The article and comment inventory therefore needs separate attention. We inspect the available source material and select a supported extraction or reconstruction route, with representative posts checked before promising complete archive coverage.
WordPress layouts and editing
We rebuild the approved appearance using WordPress templates and editable content sections. The scope includes responsive navigation, reusable page layouts, and the controls your team needs for routine changes. Exported HTML provides a reference, but it does not supply the destination editing experience.
Forms, widgets and legacy links
Contact forms, slideshows, search, and other hosted features are reviewed individually and replaced where required. We test form destinations and the agreed visitor tasks, then map changed URLs. Domain and email settings are considered separately so the website move does not change mail handling unintentionally.

What we need before the move
Account and source-content access
Provide the source account type, authorized editor access, available archives, original media, and domain ownership. Include the blog archive and a list of forms or widgets your team relies on.
Store and account boundaries
Store pages are also excluded from Weebly’s documented archive. Ecommerce, memberships, bookings, and payment services require separate data and behavior mapping. We agree those requirements explicitly if they belong in the WordPress project.

Compare the site inventory with the available archive. Record missing blog, store, or widget content and agree the transfer route for each part before the full rebuild.
Rebuild and review samples
Create the WordPress templates and populate representative pages and posts. Verify images, embedded content, navigation, and the editing controls with the content owner.
Transfer and launch
Complete the approved content move, reconcile the inventory, and test forms and redirects. Switch the domain under the agreed plan, recheck public pages, and hand over instructions for ongoing publishing.

Questions about the migration
Does the exported archive include every feature?
No. Weebly documents exclusions for blog and store pages and notes that components such as forms and slideshows may not work elsewhere. We inspect the archive and separately plan the features your WordPress site requires.
Can blog posts and comments move?
We assess the available source records and verify a representative transfer. The site archive alone is insufficient evidence. If an element cannot be extracted reliably, we explain the reconstruction or retention options before work proceeds.
Can you keep the current page design?
The live site can serve as the visual reference. We rebuild the layouts in WordPress and agree any changes to navigation, mobile behavior, or editing controls. A transferred page must remain usable and maintainable after launch.
