Pages, posts and media
We list the public pages, blog archive, downloads, and images that belong in the new site. Available exports are checked for coverage; missing material is transferred through an agreed capture process. The destination is reviewed for page completeness, image ownership, formatting, and links.
Design and WordPress editing
Layouts are rebuilt as WordPress templates and editable sections. We agree which parts of the current appearance to retain before development. Mobile navigation, typography, forms, and long pages are checked alongside the desktop reference, including the content your team will update most often.
Forms and Wix apps
Contact forms need a destination for enquiries, submission confirmation, and appropriate spam controls. Wix apps may need a WordPress replacement or an external service connection. We record what each app does, who uses it, and which records or settings must remain accessible.
Domain and existing links
Your domain can remain with its current registrar if that suits the setup. We map changed addresses, prepare redirects where you control the domain, and check analytics and tracking after launch. Email-related domain records are considered separately from website hosting.

What we need before the move
Site ownership and source material
Provide Wix access, the domain account owner, original media, and a list of connected apps. We also need the destinations for form submissions and a person who can verify the page inventory.
Stores, bookings and accounts
A marketing-site move does not automatically transfer Wix Stores, appointment schedules, memberships, or payment subscriptions. These have their own data and business rules. We scope them explicitly if they must be part of the WordPress project.
How we prepare the move
Inventory the site
Review public and private pages, blog entries, apps, and available exports. Agree the keep/change list and record content that requires manual reconstruction.
Rebuild and populate
Create the WordPress templates, bring across approved text and media, and reconnect the required services. Review a representative page and form before completing the remaining pages.
Test and switch
Check links, images, mobile layouts, editor access, and form delivery. Apply the agreed domain change, verify the public pages and redirects, and give your team instructions for routine WordPress updates.

Questions about the migration
Can the existing design be retained?
Yes, it can be the visual reference for the rebuild. Wix’s underlying editor and hosted runtime do not become WordPress components. We agree how closely to preserve the appearance and which editing controls the new site needs.
Can you export the whole Wix site into WordPress?
There is no complete Wix website export that makes its hosted features run in WordPress. We inspect the export options for individual content types and combine supported transfers with a scoped rebuild.
What happens to forms and apps?
Each required function gets a replacement decision. Existing form records are handled separately from future submission delivery. Store, booking, and membership data is included only when its transfer route and destination behavior have been agreed.
