A Wix website depends on Wix’s hosting technology. We use your content and approved design as the basis for a WordPress build, with a separate decision for each Wix app.
We list the public pages, blog archive, downloads, and images that belong in the new site. Available exports are checked for coverage; missing material is transferred through an agreed capture process. The destination is reviewed for page completeness, image ownership, formatting, and links.
Layouts are rebuilt as WordPress templates and editable sections. We agree which parts of the current appearance to retain before development. Mobile navigation, typography, forms, and long pages are checked alongside the desktop reference, including the content your team will update most often.
Contact forms need a destination for enquiries, submission confirmation, and appropriate spam controls. Wix apps may need a WordPress replacement or an external service connection. We record what each app does, who uses it, and which records or settings must remain accessible.
Your domain can remain with its current registrar if that suits the setup. We map changed addresses, prepare redirects where you control the domain, and check analytics and tracking after launch. Email-related domain records are considered separately from website hosting.

A marketing-site move does not automatically transfer Wix Stores, appointment schedules, memberships, or payment subscriptions. These have their own data and business rules. We scope them explicitly if they must be part of the WordPress project.
