We do not have an office in St. Petersburg, and the map is honest about it: the pin is our Florida office in Fort Myers, about 135 miles north-west of our Fort Myers office. The distance changes how easy it is to meet, not how the work runs.
Animation was added for appearance, with no rule for use or restraint.

We specify timing and fallback states only for interactions that help a visitor understand or act. We choose interaction moments where motion improves feedback or explanation, then specify timing, easing, responsive behaviour and reduced-motion states. Implementation and performance checks can be included with development or handed to another team.
