A St. Pete web design studio, without the St. Pete address.

Norml Studio’s Florida office is in Fort Myers, about 135 miles south of St. Petersburg. That is the furthest of any city we publish a page for, so let us be plain: if proximity is what you are buying, buy locally. If what you want is a site with a system underneath it and accounts in your own name, keep reading.

Where we are, and where you are.

We do not have an office in St. Petersburg and are not going to draw one. Norml Studio’s Florida office is in Fort Myers — about 135 miles north-west of our Fort Myers office — and we work up the Gulf coast from it. The distance changes how easy it is to meet, not how the work runs.

St. Petersburg and Fort Myers on Florida’s Gulf coast — about 135 miles north-west of our Fort Myers office. The pin is the only office we have here: Norml Studio LLC, 4263 B Island Circle, Fort Myers.

The redesign looked like a rebrand and worked like a reprint.

  • The visual identity was refreshed and the structure underneath was left exactly as it was.

  • The site was handed over as a set of pages, not a system, so the next change needs the same designer or a new one who starts over.

  • Analytics were installed and never configured, so two years of traffic tell you nothing about which pages earn.

  • The company sells to other businesses and the site reads like a brochure for consumers.

  • The hosting, the domain and the analytics property are all in the last agency’s account.

What we do as a web design company in St. Petersburg.

The same scope we run everywhere. What is worth saying honestly about this market is that it is full of good designers — so the question to put to any studio here, including us, is what you are left holding when the project ends.

Strategy before design

What the site has to prove, to whom, and in what order. Agreed before anything is styled, so design review is about design rather than about what the pages are.

Information architecture

Which pages exist, what each one is for, and how a visitor gets from a search to an enquiry. A page map you can hand to anyone.

Design system in Figma

Components, states and responsive rules rather than a stack of static screens, so page ten looks like page one and a new page does not need a designer.

The build

WordPress your team can edit, or a Next.js front end where the job needs one. Structured so extending it does not mean calling us.

Migration and redesign

Moving off a page builder or an inherited theme without losing the rankings you already have. Diet vs Disease was rebuilt header first, then footer, then homepage, then the rest, with organic and paid traffic running throughout and nothing shipping unchecked.

Analytics and search setup

Search Console, analytics and conversion tracking configured — not merely installed — at launch, so the numbers mean something a year from now.

Handover you can actually use

The files, the design system, the accounts in your name, and a session with your team. This is the deliverable we would judge a studio on, so it is the one we lead with.

What you get.

The exact scope depends on the page count and the stack. A typical engagement hands over the following:

  1. 01

A page map covering every URL, its job, and what links to it.

  2. 02

A Figma design system with components, states and responsive rules.

  3. 03

Page content written against what the business actually sells.

  4. 04

A built site on WordPress or Next.js that your team edits without a developer.

  5. 05

A redirect and launch plan, so an existing site keeps the traffic it has.

  6. 06

Analytics and Search Console configured, with conversion defined rather than assumed.

  7. 07

Every account and file in your name, plus a handover session.

Our process

How the work runs.

Discovery

We read the analytics, the current site and how enquiries actually arrive. Not a questionnaire. You get the diagnosis first.

[ 01 ]

Architecture

Page map and URL plan, agreed before design starts. A sitemap you can argue with.

[ 02 ]

Design

Wireframes, then the system in Figma. Components and states, not screenshots.

[ 03 ]

Build

WordPress or Next.js, structured so your team can extend it without calling us.

[ 04 ]

Launch and handover

Redirects, analytics, Search Console, speed, then the files and the session that make you independent.

St. Petersburg web design questions.

You are not in St. Pete. Why hire you?
Only for the work, and only if the work is what you need. Norml Studio LLC is registered in Wyoming with its Florida office in Fort Myers, 135 miles south — the furthest of any city we publish a page for. Most of our clients are outside Florida entirely. If you want someone in the room regularly, hire in St. Pete. If you want architecture, a design system and a clean handover, distance is not the variable.
Would we ever meet?
For a kickoff or a launch review we will make the drive. Everything else runs over video, which is how the majority of our engagements work. We are not going to promise a standing weekly in your office from two and a half hours away.
What kind of companies do you work with?
Companies that sell to other businesses, and product companies: software platforms, professional services, manufacturers, financial and healthcare platforms. The common thread is a considered purchase where the website has to explain something before anyone will call.
What exactly do we own at the end?
Everything. The Figma file with the design system, the site, the domain, the hosting, the analytics property and the Search Console property, all in accounts with your name on them, plus a session walking your team through it. If a studio cannot answer this question in one sentence, that is the answer.
Can you show a Tampa Bay client?
Not one you can read yet. We have an engagement in Fort Myers whose case study is being prepared rather than published. The work shown on this page is from clients elsewhere, so you can judge the standard rather than the postcode.
How much does web design cost here?
Norml publishes its rates on Clutch — $50–$99 per hour with a $5,000 project minimum. A full engagement covering strategy, design system, content and build sits well above that minimum. We scope after discovery, and we will tell you when the job is smaller than our minimum.
Do you work in Tampa and Clearwater as well?
Yes, and there is a separate page for Tampa because the search term is its own. Across the bay generally the answer is simply yes.
What happens after launch?
You can run it yourself — that is what the handover is for. When a team would rather not, Norml Care covers updates, monitoring and small changes on a monthly plan.
